Our Family

Our Family

Well, you know how it goes, once boy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after!  That's basically our story.  Chris and I met each other in the fall of 1999, I was a senior in high school and he was a sophmore in college.  We were introduced to each other through a mutual friend.  We did not officially become an item until the following January of 2000.  We have been together ever since!  I even got him to go to my senior prom with me!  He's definitely a keeper!

Anyways, he asked me to marry him on Valentine's Day of 2002 and we were married on February 22, 2003.  We had discussed  having children on one of our numerous dates and had decided we wanted a fairly big family, and decided that 4 children would be great!  A little over 2 years after we were married, our first daughter was born in March of 2005, a year and a week later, our second daughter was born in March of 2006, and 19 months to the day, our 3rd daughter was born in October of 2007, and not even a year later, our first son was born in October of 2008...(I know, we moved fast on the family thing!)  So, now we were an above average sized family of 6, with 4 kiddos under the age of 4...wow, just typing that makes me tired!

Well, needless to say, I was tired, and Chris was tired.  ( I forgot to mention that while all this baby-having was going on, Chris built us a house, and we moved 2 times! )  We managed to get through diapers, teething, sleepless nights, the twos, the threes, and here we are today!

Today, I homeschool our 4 kiddos, and Chris works as a Corrosion Technician. The kids and I are currently missing Texas something awful, but trying to make the best of it in this imposter cowboy state of Wyoming.  (I mean, no one actually wears cowboy hats here, what's that all about...?)  Hopefully one day soon we will find our way back to the scorching heat and piney woods of East Texas....Y'all come back now, Ya hear!
